Behold, the mighty camera!

Its supremacy is unparalleled, being able to capture live scenes and keep them whole, still images till the end of time.

=D

We got photos!!!

[this report is for the girls' and junior (only one junior came) training on the 20th of june]

Training started with a soul-searching question of Why Are You Here?.

Then drills, drills and more drills in preparation for the friendly against G12.

Hey look look! PHOTOS!

Tengoklah mukanya, penuh konsentrasi.

Another one of the drills.

Back-bending Tiger Woods meets floorball.

We shall put the long-awaited photos in the limelight, and therefore cut down on words.

So here're two words: Match Time :)

Like sunflowers facing the sun, these floorballers face the ball.

What the ball's thinking: Lying on the floor, surrounded, surrounded..

Training ended with a short debrief.

(this is what I call a short and sweet report)

Just look at the joy floorball can bring to this fella's face :)

Sign language! (don't ask me, ask the cameraman)

The Friday training

Just before i begin with the report... i logged in the account and guess what? the title of the blog read "home of the firebrands floo" i know it was cut coz it was long but it just seemed funny. firebrands floo. the new virus instead of the pig/swine/a(h1n1) virus haha

anyways.. back to the real point of updating.
Since the two weeks put off from training since so many things have been happening around this time the saturday training which was supposed to be canceled was moved to Friday instead *the joy*.

Attendance was not full scale but optimum since it was a combined session from 3 - 5 p.m. only. Started off with the basic drills... snakes, warming up keeper bla bla bla.. then passes and then quickly but not too quickly we went into the GAME :) it was the BoYs 5 of them versus the giRls and juniors so there was a lots of shots here and there. with only one goalie present on that day. OUr unique goal was made out of 3 stacked benches :D pretty good eh for improvising lolz. so it was an easy going day of training, keeping our senses alive while in a game although some of us got a little too lazy here and there. Overall it was a satisfying number and play time was sufficient considering the 2 hours we had to compensate for the 4 hours we could've missed.
once again no pictures since there were no cameras around so until we can find a proposed cameraman we'll just have to go without pichahs

Breaking Fast :)

Be warned: This post is devoid of photos. (volunteer cameraman, we need!)

So after one and twenty reallyyyy longggg days, Firebrands Floorball Club finally had training again!

It felt like... you know after you fast for one day, then you eat at night? yeah like that.

Walau bagaimanapun, attendance took a heavy toll.

It was like... you know in Terminator after apocalypse, when Skynet rampaged and killed a whole lotta people and only Kyle Reese and that li'l girl were left in LA? yeah like that.

No actually I think it was cuz there were school holidays, so ada orang pi cuti sini sana.

SO. Girls and Juniors Training. I'll do it in point form k? Easier :)
  • Eulene came half-an-hour early and left an hour early. (She was taking the early to bed, early to rise adage beyond just bedtime.)
  • Eureka and Tania came.
  • Kieran the sole guy. You have got to salute his commitment.
  • Training warmed with the usual paired passing. Then the same paired passing with a bit of running incorporated.
  • Coach Jason then separated the players into two groups.
  • Kieran and Eulene did short-distance wall passes (a few hundred I think).
  • Rectangle passes for Eureka, Tania and Gary, with pressure from Mr Coach, of course. Then they did V-passes. V stands for Very tiring.
  • Oh and guess what came after? ONE WHOLE HOUR OF GAME TIME =D
  • That means 2-on-2 in one badminton court. Also very tiring.
  • Ivy joined in. One-and-a-half-hours late. Um. Better late than never?
Yeah, attendance was miserly, you could literally count the number of players with your fingers on one hand. Time to do some cajoling! With the friendly coming up, the number of girls in training better triple..

Okay, ignoring the attendance, I enjoyed training. (Oh heck who am I fooling? I hardly ever don't enjoy training.)

But yeah, the number of players definitely dampened the atmosphere and the energy level on court. Sure, it was nice breaking three weeks' worth of floorball fast, but well it could've been nicer.

In order to not end on a potong stim note, I will take the liberty to add that the seniors' training session had lots of players =D
